About the event

Author: Elzbieta Khovanets Translation: Irina Adelgeim Direction and Music: Gor Markaryan Set Design and Costumes: Nelli Barsegyan "Gardenia" is a highly artistic work, primarily due to its narrative, as well as its sharp dialogues and seemingly simple language. It is a message addressed to today's reader and then to the viewer - about the role of women, the challenges fate throws at them, and self-discovery. Four women whose destinies are intertwined, all beautiful and anonymous (they are only "numbered") and mentally, subconsciously, and even unknowingly search for the image of their own family. Along the way, they awaken a sensual world within them, which the author skillfully projects onto everyday problems and desires. The storms raging in their souls create seemingly strange desires like wanting to drink or draw. Four women of different ages, searching for themselves, without even realizing it. Organizer: “State Russian Drama Theatre named after K. S. Stanislavski” SNCO
