Five paths. Five stories. One language — jazz. The Sidewalk Five brings together five musicians whose creative journeys unite around a single artistic vision. Throughout the evening, original compositions will be performed, where tradition and improvisation intertwine, creating a vibrant and unique musical dialogue. The special guest of the evening is renowned guitarist and composer Sergey Chashkin — a graduate of Israel’s “Rimon” School of Jazz and Contemporary Music and Berklee College of Music in the USA, a laureate of prestigious international jazz competitions, and a musician who has performed with world-famous artists such as Branford Marsalis, Didier Lockwood, Kevin Mahogany, and others. Filled with musical mastery, creative freedom, and the spirit of improvisation, this evening will invite the Philharmonic audience on a journey into the incomparable world of contemporary jazz.
