Concert - Open-Air Concert: Khachatur Avetisyan — 100

On September 10 at 8:00 p.m., a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of composer Khachatur Avetisyan, one of the most prominent representatives of 20th-century Armenian music, will take place on the open-air stage in the park of the Komitas Chamber Music House. The “Tagharan” Ancient Music Ensemble will perform the beloved composer’s widely popular songs and dances, distinguished by their national spirit and melodic richness. Soloists: Vardan Badalyan, Arpi, Mavr Mkrtchyan, Lusine Markosyan, Gayane Ghambaryan, Aramo Mamikonian, Marianna Gevorgyan, and Zakar Keshishian. Artistic director and conductor of the “Tagharan” ensemble: Sedrak Yerkanyan. The concert is held with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia.
