Concert - Listening to Komitas: From Folk to Jazz

On October 5 at 19:00, the joint concert of Yerevan State Chamber Choir and Dialog Project will take place at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall. The project brings together the Yerevan State Chamber Choir and Dialog Project, creating a dialogue between Komitas’s musical heritage, Armenian folk traditions and jazz. Through new interpretations of Komitas’s compositions, traditional Armenian sounds meet a contemporary musical language, inviting audiences to experience and listen to Komitas from a fresh perspective. Artistic Director and Choirmaster of the Yerevan State Chamber Choir: Kristina Voskanyan. Founder and Artistic Director of Dialog Project: Tigran Suchyan. Author of the arrangements: Vahagn Babloyan.
