Concert - Chamber Music Evening Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Anahit Tsitsikyan

On August 26 at 7:30 PM, the Aram Khachaturian Museum invites audiences to an evening of chamber music dedicated to the 100th anniversary of renowned Armenian violinist Anahit Tsitsikian. The concert features laureates of international competitions Sona Barseghyan on piano and Karen Shahgaldyan on violin. The program includes Aram Khachaturian’s Song-Poem, Dance and Nocturne; Ernest Chausson’s Poème; Ernest Bloch’s Nigun; Eduard Baghdasaryan’s Nocturne and Rhapsody; Antonín Dvořák’s Gypsy Song; and Fritz Kreisler’s Caprice Viennois. One of the evening’s most symbolic moments will be a performance on Anahit Tsitsikian’s personal violin, bringing the great artist’s musical legacy to life. Organizer: Aram Khachaturian Museum
