On September 17 at 7:00 PM, the Komitas Chamber Music Hall will host a solo concert featuring pianists Anahit Nersisyan, Honored Artist of Armenia, international competition laureate and professor, and Isabella Marutyan, laureate of international competitions.   The program will feature works by some of the most prominent figures of 20th-century Armenian classical music, including Ghazaros Saryan, Arno Babajanyan, Edward Mirzoyan, Alexander Harutyunyan, Ashot Khudoyan, Grigor Hovunts, and others.   The concert is dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.   Program: ·       Ghazaros Saryan: “Three Postludes” ·       Adam Khudoyan: “Elegy”, “Nostalgia”, “Vision”, “Humoresque” ·       Edward Mirzoyan: “Toccatina”, “Poem” ·       Alexander Harutyunyan: “The Wind Blew in the Mountains”, “Dance of the Sasuntsi”, three pieces from the “Six Moods” cycle ·       Arno Babajanyan: “Capriccio”, “Chorale”, “Dance of the Sasuntsi”, “Poem” ·       Gagik Hovunts: two pieces from “Monogram” (dedicated to A. Harutyunyan and A. Babajanyan) ·       Edward Mirzoyan: “Lezginka” (from the Dance Suite), arranged for two pianos by Martin Vardazaryan ·       Alexander Harutyunyan and Arno Babajanyan: “Armenian Rhapsody” for two pianos   Concert host: Olya Nuridjanyan.
