ArAr Gallery presents “MASQUERADE”, a solo exhibition by Armenian artist Hasmik Avetisyan. We live in a world of endless masquerade, where the right mask can create a sense of safety, belonging and independence. But where does the mask end — and the real self begin? MASQUERADE explores the tension between the image we present to the world and the person hidden behind it. The exhibition is conceived as a multimedia project, bringing together different media within a single conceptual framework.
