Workshop - Course “Pictorial Thinking”

About the event
Children aged 9 and above and adults. Thanks to an individual approach, the
program is adapted to the age, skill level, and individual characteristics of
each student.
What the course includes:
— fundamentals of painting and working with color;
— development of color perception and the ability to see color relationships;
— composition and identifying the main focus of a work;
— observational sketching, studying proportions and the principles of
perspective;
— developing the ability to sense the state and mood of what we paint;
— developing an individual artistic vision and finding a personal way of
expression;
— during each lesson, we study works by different artists and explore how they
worked with color, composition, form, light, and mood, and then apply the
knowledge gained to our own work.
Classes are held twice a week — on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each class lasts 2
hours.
Price:
Single class — ֏8,000.
Monthly pass (8 classes) — ֏52,000.
Trial class for new students — free of charge.
Anna Araevna Bazyan was born in Moscow in 1978.
In 2000, she graduated from the “Institute of Artistic Creativity” at the
“Academy of Fine Arts.”
She studied at the painting school of Alexander Nikolaevich Volkov under his
eldest son, Valery Alexandrovich Volkov.
Since 2003 — member of the Professional Union of Artists.
Since 2008 — member of the International Art Foundation.
She participated in both group and solo exhibitions from 1999 to 2022.
She was awarded the “Talent and Vocation” medal by the “Peacemaker” association.
Anna Bazyan’s works are held in private collections in Russia, Crimea, Armenia,
England, France, and Germany.
