Ceramics course for children aged 8–13 In our ceramics elective, children aged 8 to 13 will be able to immerse themselves in the fascinating process of hand sculpting, developing imagination, fine motor skills, and confidence in their abilities. Each session is dedicated to a new theme — from creating animal figurines to plates, mugs, vases, and imaginative objects. Here, children don’t just sculpt — they learn how to work with form, composition, and texture, as well as the basics of decorative finishing techniques. Program includes: • hand-building with high-quality clay; • use of engobes and colored ceramic paints; • coating finished pieces with transparent food-safe glaze; • two firings to ensure durability and strength. All materials, firings, and glazing are included in the price, so nothing needs to be purchased separately. The elective helps unlock a child’s creative potential, encourages self-expression, and simply brings joy through the process. Finished works can be taken home and used or gifted to loved ones.
