What lies behind the walls of a public house? Some have come here out of despair, others have been sold like living goods… Through the destinies of the heroines, the creators of the performance reveal a terrifying vicious circle from which there is no escape. The performance “Yama” is not just a story about a brothel, but a powerful social statement about life “at the bottom,” the lack of rights for women, and the indifference of society — presented with brilliant theatricality that will leave no one indifferent.
