Power on Earth appears as a strange geometric figure: several corners of global power and a thousand-line network connecting them. Yet its nature remains unchanged at every point. The Autumn of the Patriarch by Gabriel García Márquez portrays a man whose tiny body could not withstand the weight of such power.
