Theatre - Love Doesn’t Ask About Age

The main character of the play, Edouard Colomb, is having an affair with his student, who is 30 years younger than him, his daughter’s friend and peer. At the same time, his ex-wife falls in love with a young man half her age. Meanwhile, his daughter begins an affair with an adult man. As in comedies, the father accepts his daughter’s fiancé as his wife’s lover, while the same fiancé’s wife is considered the ex-husband’s lover. Of course, the characters are forced to lie to each other, which often happens when they have to hide one unwanted guest or another in the bathroom.
