About the event
Participants of the club will read the science fiction story The Veldt by American writer Ray Bradbury. The story takes place simultaneously in real and virtual spaces, and the characters represent two generations: the older and the younger. We will discuss how the great science fiction author predicted the emergence of Artificial Intelligence and explored its possible impact on relationships between parents and their children. Texts will be read and analyzed during the meeting itself — no prior preparation is required. The meeting will be led by Artur Khazaryan — translator from English and Spanish, freelance contributor to the publishing company “Eksmo.” Currently, he works as a guide at the M.S. Saryan House-Museum. Saturday, March 14 Start at 17:30 2000 ֏ Age restriction: 15+ Meetings are held in an intimate format, with limited seating.
