WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS COURSE Month 1 — Fundamentals Exploring the world of typefaces: — Typeface classification — Text and display fonts — Structure of typographic typefaces Study of Armenian typefaces: — Structural characteristics — Proportions and form-thinking Getting started with tools: — Installing FontLab and introduction to the interface — Working tools — Designing the first lowercase letters Month 2 — Lowercase Design Letterform becomes a system: — Designing double-stem and triple-stem lowercase letters — Creating a complete lowercase set — Maintaining structure and rhythm — In-depth work on Armenian type design Month 3 — Uppercase & Final Stage Creating a complete typeface: — Designing uppercase letters — Adjusting letter combinations and spacing (kerning) — Detailed work on points and balance — Creating and applying an OpenType font COURSE FORMAT 2 days per week (outside working hours, detailed schedule coming soon) Organizer: Art mart
