Courses - Biology club for schoolchildren
Apr 9 β’ 6:30 PM
About the event
Have you ever wondered how the world around us works? Why do plants reach toward
the sun? How do animals adapt to life? And how has evolution shaped all living
things on the planet?
We are launching a biology club where schoolchildren can not only learn the
fundamentals of modern biology but also try themselves as real researchers.
What awaits participants:
Basic knowledge of botany, zoology, and evolutionary theory
Practice in collecting museum and scientific material
Fundamentals of biological illustration
Methods of conducting scientific research
Outdoor excursions and field observations
This is a club for those who want not just to read about biology in a textbook,
but to see it in real life, to explore, discover, and be amazed.
The club will be led by Leonid Neymark, a zoologist and graduate of the Biology
Faculty of Moscow State University.
