About the event
Yerevan Savage Art Biennale transforms the Philharmonia Babajanyan Hall and
Foyers into a unique one-day festival of Wild Art – a powerful synthesis of
contemporary art, experimental music, performance, and deep philosophical
reflection.

MARTYROPHONE, ANTE SARYAN, TRANSLUCENT CURTAIN BIS
Presentation of Kamil Tchalaev’s monumental works dedicated to Martiros Saryan,
including the vertical diptych “Hayastan” and the translucent triptych
“Martyrophon” (a painting that also functions as a resonant musical instrument),
plus Katayoon Ghomi’s powerful installation “Curtain Bis”.

LIVING MUSEUM • IMAGINARY JAPAN • IDIOPHONIC TREE
Open access to the collection of ethnic and historical musical instruments from
Ecole Sauvage (France) with special program featuring traditional Japanese
instruments (koto, shamisen, kokyu, shakuhachi) and improvisation workshops.

CHILDREN COMPOSERS • B.A.C.H. DISABLED • METAJAZZ
Evening concert program with performances by young composers, radical
reinterpretations of Bach, and a collective Metajazz project featuring Vairi
Dprots Orchestra and renowned improvisers.
Artists & Participants: Kamil Tchalaev, Katayoon Ghomi, Vairi Orchestra, Vardan
Harutyunyan, David Balasanyan, Vyacheslav Akhmetzyanov, and others.
This is neither a regular concert nor a conventional exhibition. It is Wild Art
– a space of freedom where tradition, trauma, transformation, and the future
meet.
